Winter is not only about skiing and fun on the slopes. During winter there are lots of other possible leisure activities and attractions. Our apartment is located in such a place that many of them are very close to and it is definitely worth using!
The surrounding mountains are the heart of the Silesian Beskids, and as we know, some people enjoy hiking not only in summer. Nearby trails offer the possibility of hiking and admiring nature (but we will write more about mountain walks in the SUMMER section). Some of the mountain trails also serve as cross-country ski trails and ski touring trails – sports that are becoming more and more popular.
In Szczyrk you will also find a complex of three Skalite ski jumps, on which our best jumpers won medals. You can also visit the curling track in the Czyrna-Solisko area, or the snowtubing located near the Krasnal – Skrzat ski lifts. Szczyrk also offers a seasonal open ice rink in the city center or at the Meta Hotel – also in the center!
